Thank You Invisible Sun LED

I want to thank Invisible Sun. We were on a podcast and we were talking about the prizes on the forum and the fact i dont enter, Invis posted in chat that he would send me a light. I dont normally take from the forum or sponsors but a gift is a gift and i graciously accepted. I got my light today and im very glad i did accept. They have sent me a prototype LED grow light to replace my HPS. This will run alongside my other parabolic so its going to turn into a LED v HPS. I cannot thank Invisible sun enough for this and just after mu birthday to. I finally get to join the Invis crew :barmy:

Anyone thats heard me talk about LED will know that this is exactly the type of set up ive wanted, something that will evenly cover the entire area. I was shocked to see the difference in brightness from them side by side. I cannot wait to see the difference flower. Ill get a full write up done once ive got used to it with all the specs.

Thank you so much Invisible Sun for a very cool gift and all you do for the forum.

Nice one, mate. That's jolly nice of IS to do that.

Nice! It’ll be really cool to see the side-by-side comparisons. Good on Invisible Sun!

I just checked them after 7 hours on, cool to the touch and the temps in tent have dropped by 4c to what they would normally be.

Hey k,

I managed to get it out of the tent. Real impressed with these already. The bars themselves cover almost all of that half of the tent, the light spread is brilliant.

Looking forward to that mate. That is the same driver I got for mine and the only downside I found was that there is not much dimming range. The plus being it over clocks the diodes amazingly and the heat sinks don't even warm up. You will have to let me know what sort of dimming you are able to get out of that led in comparison mate. The light looks fecking awesome and fits that tent perfectly. Can't wait to see the results in the plants.

Thanks again to Invisible Sun and you totally deserve it Keeno. Nice One.

Our 4r has a great dimming range.
Thanks HMR.

Do you know if the 4R is using the same driver? Or do you have the B or (AB) variant e.g.
  • HLG-480H-C2100A (adjustable through built-in potentiometer. And environment adaptiveness)
  • HLG-480H-C2100B (3 in 1 dimming function (0~10Vdc, 10Vsignal and resistance) and environment adaptiveness)
  • HLG-480H-C2100AB (Io adjustable through built-in potentiometer & 3 in 1 dimming function (0~10Vdc, 10V PWM signal and resistance)
Taken from the datasheet.
