Hey mr man, I noticed you didn't cover your bottle with anything. In your opinion do you think it's necessary? I might leave mine uncovered so I can see the roots, I was afraid of algae growing though

Personally I wouldn’t advise it josh look at it this way have you ever seen see through pots in any hydro stores or in standard garden centres in fact it’s not a good idea it will only encourage problems and deficiencies from the off pal

Just an opinion though of course you are free to doo as you wish would be kool to see for science of course lol

i will be covering my bottle i just couldn't find my mylar tape so waiting for a new roll to turn up. i will be leaving a small line going down the bottle uncovered to make it easier to see water level.
