Re: Stoned thoughts of the day
Brussels sprouts are thought to have originated in Rome, but they really hit their stride in Belgium where they became popular as a vegetable crop in the 16th century. It was there that Brussels sprouts were tagged with the name they still carry today.

Re: Stoned thoughts of the day
Salutations,
An article on wildlife in deserts made me aware recently that temperature remains around 27 ±5 °C under 30 cm of sand in the Namib throughout the year, hence i wonder how deep one has to go in order to create suitable habitation spaces for humans. Everywhere sunlight would be an abundant energy source directly available from right above and i suppose it's not too hard to dig in sand comparatively to tunneling through rocks, so why not start exploring terra-forming technologies in those remote, relatively uninhabited and already rude places rather than think of Mars or the Moon! One problem being this might certainly cause wildlife to invite itself in, e.g. tarantulas, scorpions, serpents...
