Doesn't look like peyote 👀🤷‍♂️
It’s not San Pedro is different variety, these are faster growing than peyote, I got my seeds from eBay, I think you can get cuttings on there as well but they come in from other countries.

Obviously the seed to this size is the slowest stage the bigger they get they should grow quicker I would think.

I've wanted to grow peyote for years now, partly for the challenge and partly for... the other part of peyote. Looks like theyre a nightmare to get going though, maybe I'll have to have a look around again.

I've had this Lophophora williamsii for more than 20 years and growth is very slow, but easy to maintain - started with one button and more gradually appeared. I think you can buy them legally in UK, probably easier than trying to grow from seed, as I heard it can be a bit tricky? I see them on eBay. I got mine from a stall at botanical gardens:

@IMO Yeah me and a friend are growing them.
We got the seeds from a guy that went over to Syria i think it was and he had a bunch of seeds with him back home.
Gonna be interesting to see if we get anything out of them flowers later or how much we can collect.
