Hun we were all like it at the start honestly it’s natural only in time do we realise they can take a lot these plants more than we could imagine at the start and that a little less love has many many advantages

Yeah I've always heard less love is more:) so hard though. I was toying with defoliation... I'm terrified honestly. I might snip off another 2 in a few days time. I just want to see how she goes.
As for vegging... Maybe another 3 or so weeks? I honestly don't know. I will be spamming you guys as to when you think I should flip. Never done training and only topped once before. My extent of growing before was: throw bag seedling in pot of potting soil and compost. Water, feed at flower. Literally it. I put 2 in the ground and left 2 in pots. Harvests and smoke not too bad. So rolling in the dark here. Was going to go by sight and my grow space.
I'm busy building a proper grow room (good thing I married a carpenter;) I can fully close. Not my butchered cupboard. Final space will be 1.2m x 1.2m and 1.9m high

Update! Ok so I topped her a week ago now. She didn't seem to mind it as growth didn't slow down much. And if I thought she was bushy before.... I'm struggling a bit with the Bush. So I did some minor defoliation (about 10%) yesterday with LST. Removed the big fan leaves and some smaller ones to let light and air in. I hope she loves me for it. The ties are quite loose but I think I've opened her up a bit.
I also raised my lights a bit to try get a little more stretch.
Stem is lovely and thick. And the nodes are bulging nicely:)
She will hopefully be moving to her new home soon as my cupboard is getting a wee bit small:)
