High, I soak the seed for 24hrs in warm dark place till they crack and sink,then drop them in their preprepared forever pot,(I’m using canna bio terra soil),
No issues breaking tap roots, or transplant shock just let nature do its thing,11from 12 so far all autos.
I use a small 200w light till the second leaf appears and then swap to the main light.20/4.
Works for me.
