Shithot looking canopy and colas mate. That's very well done. Are you sure you're first time grower lol?
Thanks Bulls, I think I was just lucky with the canopy. I done quite a bit of research before committing to growing something. Organics seems to just work. I've not bothered adjusting the PH or anything. Just stuck to the manufacturers recommendations and it's worked really well. I think the one thing I took from reading all the posts, articles and grow diaries is water quality seems to be the key. That's why I invested in a RO machine after running out of rain water to give them. I've seen other peoples grows and when they finish, the pots, trays and anything that has come into contact with municipal water for extended periods is covered in salt. That can't be good for the plants. Someone also posted a water analysis for the area where I live and it's very high in calcium and low in magnesium. I've also read that most of the salt in municipal water either cannot be taken up by the plant or is very hard for the plant to absorb. There's a guy on youtube that grows peppers and he done a side by side comparison with municipal water vs rain water. There was four plants, 1 was municipal water and the TDS of the water wasn't considered so if the chart told him to make up a solution of 1.6EC and the water was already 0.6EC the TDS the plant saw way 2.2EC. 2 was municipal water and the base TDS was considered and 3 was the rain water with a low EC. You could see the difference clearly. 3 looked awesome, healthy and happy, 1 was looking OK and green but smaller and had leaf curl and 2 had signs of deficiencies and looked a bit sorry for itself.

Final furlong

Post by seymore_budz »

Just an update, I'm on the final week. The 10K finishing bulb went in today. If I'm honest, the Glueberry looks done but I don't have the space to harvest half.

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Yea the picture doesn't illustrate it. Heres a photo of the very back corner where the light was blocked by the fan. You can see they're cooked there.

The smaller ones are about 80% milky and at the very top it's slightly less. My gut feeling they could come out now but they will have to wait a week as rest is nowhere near done.

So Thursday would be 49 days. A little earlier than expected. I'm hoping the sunpulse will do it's job and ripen the rest up.

My opinion is they don't look near ready yet but it depends the high you want. They don't look like the calyxs are swolen at all yet mate.
What type of high do you like?
