Tommy's first try at Bubble Hash and Temple Balls
This is my first try. And I'm pretty impressed with the outcome.
Using the paint stirrer to break it up.
After filtering off the water.
On the drying screen.
I read that you can run the same weed several times but you should use fresh water each time.
But I thought to myself, "What about the stuff that gets through the 25 micron bag?"
So here is what I did.
After running the batch each time I let the bucket sit for a bit then siphoned off the water down to about 2 cm.
I rinsed the last bit of water into a pan. Then re-ran that same batch of weed.
At the end I siphoned off more of the water out the pan.
I then let that pan sit with a fan blowing on it to evaporate all the water.
This is the pan after the water evaporated.
Started scraping it with a razor blade.
Total amount scraped. Not bad for something that would have went down the drain.
25 micron Temple Ball
73 micron Temple Ball
Stuff from the larger micron bubble bags. I couldn't get this stuff to melt together. Probably too much green material in it.
Although it still smokes pretty good.
All together I ended up with about 14.5 grams of hash.
I don't think that was too bad considering some people throw out their trim and leaves.

Purple Punch From Seedstockers
The other day when I was high I solved one of the world's greatest problems.
Unfortunately five minutes later I forgot what I was doing.

You might be able to work the scrapings into the largest micron clump as it's gonna be full of broken trichome glands. looks good.
Anyone that has time for drama is not gardening enough.

That's kind of what I thought. They say (on the web) that the smaller trichomes are about 20 microns. So the ones at the bottom of the bucket I kind of figured they would be fractured pieces. I'm also wondering if there isn't some globulations of chlorophyll.

I'm sure there's some, but based on that color I suspect it's not much.

Nice Tommy. How are you drying it?
I like to pop my balls in the freezer for a few hours then get the fine cheese grater on them over a bit of baking parchment and leave them to air dry for a week in the house.
Then work them back together with a hit of hand heat and a squeeze.

Re: Tommy's first try at Bubble Hash and Temple Balls
I love doing a bubble run. HMR brought me some bags last year and now i save all trim just because it produces something from the waste.
My bubble hash is always a back uo stash and have been grateful for it when we have run out of bud. This one i can see getting broken in to before next chop lol
