Anyone got their tape measures out yet???

I've been pondering on this still. I think what my work for me is maybe grabbing an LED and also grabbing a pair of 24w uvb T5s to run along them too.

So I'll be around the 300W power draw area.

I'll grab IR bulbs if I feel the space needs some radiant heat, but then I may as well just stick with CMH. :idn:

The other question is... Samsung or Osram units...? :strangling: :running-around: :surrender:

Is there a discount code for Invis Sun on here too?
My F-Bar is the old model, I don't think the dimensions are the same as the latest model so I can't help you there but this is what it says on the site for the F-Bar V3:
1100mm x 250mm x 45mm ( 110cm x 25cm x 4.5cm )

Cheers Bio,

That 110cm length means I wouldn;t be able to use it in the 1m tent when I'm back in there.

Ah FFS. :strangling:

Tis said you can`t beat German engineering but do they just mean that when your buying a new Merc motor only ? Feck knows tbh but i think they do, but ill say Samsung anyhow just cus Samsung well it just flows of my tongue like uuu-va-vuu.... and Osram dont. Spanner in works here though, but i think those Krauts make cree cob LED and i did well with them on LED run in fact best result ive done growing with LED lights so far out of my one n half LED grows. I recon its a toss a coin moment though Marcus, its gotta be close either way. I dont mind German bier ana`ll, that gets your blindo`D.

Now, COB LEDs... I only had a good experience with them. I liked them.

Maybe this is the thing, LEDs are too spaced out... unlike the COBs that are an intense point of light.

But yes, Osram have agood rep over the years for horti lighting.

Oooh, you got me thinking now... maybe I should just grab a couple more COBs and hang them in a row.

Well, I've bust out the trusty hacksaw and I've got a decent handful of nuts (according to the wife)... and bolts.

I'll run the 4r again and see if it changes my mind vs the old faithful CMH. I may add the UV reptile T5s for flower.

But I'm adam-ant (stand and deliver etc) that LED grows miss that dirty funk that CMH produces.

Cheers Bio. And it cost me all of about 15pence for the nuts n bolts!

If they made individual 60w strips with their own driver or a single variable driver that you could daisy chain them together... I think they may be onto a winner!

8-)

They did have diy kits available at one point, I was considering trying out the R strips and I wanted the B60 but they stop doing them I think. Not sure about drivers but they did sell those as well when they still used Meanwell, maybe in the future they will do something like that again who knows :puff puff: Cheers

Hey @Marcus is this any good? Seems a bit of a bargain with the bulb.
I was thinking of getting one for winter use.
How long does a bulb last?
