I count from flip ie 12/12 BUT any breeders recommend time is from about 2 weeks or first show of flower imho.

I count from when the lights have been switched over but I suppose plants don't react to photoperiod straight away.

I disagree, I see within 24-48 hours stretch so they are reacting, just not producing flowers yet :) breeders imho quote for crowning :)

I suppose the florigen is changing the plants behaviour. I've not got much experience but I started the plants to change after about a week of the photoperiod being changed. But no doubt subtle changes were happening I missed.

Ah now, I had this convo with Jimmi earlier and he thinks DutchPassion flower times are from 12/12 flip. :idn:

But is it purely indoor grow time estimations?

:idn:
The GBOG were done within the specified time from when thr lights were switched so I reckon they consider the photoperiod change as the beginning of the flower period.
