Autoflower looking good but …

Post by guitar65riff »

Hi my first post and looking for some advice please.
My Big Bud is 64 days old. My first plant
He’s recovering well from a spider mite infestation and looks healthy, but all he seems to do is get bigger and I don’t see any buds yet.
I know he may have another 3 weeks or something yet but shouldn’t he be showing signs?

Any advice or thoughts would be welcome

Welcome to the growroom. Make yourself at home. It's nice to see a new member join up and actually contribute to the site, rather than just join and enter comps.

You should be seeing some buds by now. Can you give more info on what's she's in, lights, feed, etc.

Also, don't go with what the breeders say. They often take far longer.
Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.

Hi mate and welcome along to GrowRoom420 please make yourself at home, nice to have you with us

As Aspie said a little further info will help us determine the problem a little quicker for you pal. Autos can be temperamental little buggers sometimes but I certainly wouldn’t be at panic stations yet neither

Look forward to hearing from you

Welcome :)
Some autos like less light than others :) as above more details needed :)
Tbh looks very good :)
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

One further question, guitar65riff. How sure are you that it is an auto. Was it from a reputable dealer, or did someone give you a seed and said it was an auto?

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your help.
I bought him online from a reputable site.
I started feeding him a couple of weeks ago with a daily watering (with generic plant feed)
I can see little hairs on the stems amongst the leaves but he just keeps getting bigger rather than flowering !
He’s on 18/6 hours light
Keeping him rotated at about 26 degrees and 52 humidity.
He’s beginning to smell quite strongly (and nice!)
He had a spider mite infestation but that’s under control

I hope you mean, she :) If it's a him, then it'll never give you bud.

Although it's never happened to me, I've heard some people who had this problem went to 12/12 and flowering kicked in. I'd wait to hear from what others have to say first though.

Go for 16/8 for a few days and see. My last auto took flipping weeks to flower. What breeders was the seed?
