I'll sometime bulk out weed that's too potent for day smoking but has flavour I love with something less potent and less strong tasting stuff

Sometimes will cocktail effects if one bud with the flavour of another

I guess all depends the ingredients for what recipes we create? :idn:
I would agree with that! I’m interested in what I read about pairing a possible indica and sativa for a well rounded high.. adding effects? I mean it’s like pairing two herbs to create medicine? Like turmeric and black pepper thing.. black pepper activates the healing properties in turmeric.

i mix strains all the time. If you have a rolling tray it happens naturally...because all the leftovers get pushed into the same pile.

I actually remember listening to Shanti Baba (Scott Blakey) the owner and breeder of Mr Nice, creator of the white widow seedling, mango haze & white rhino...saying that before he begins crossing strains, he first mixes the two different cultivars together to get a representation of what the high and flavor of a cross may be/turn out. Before beginning the hard work of crossing lines and running out progeny. So yeah i reckon there's benefit in it.

I’ve pondered the same.. after smoking certain strains thinking dang yall would make beautiful babies! But wasn’t sure if it worked that way or if the kids would end up with a crazy eye and bad hair line. Either way it’s interesting and I do think there is something to smoking before crossing lines.
