Advice on keeping my girls happy? There not loving life.

Post by Benjic93 »

Hey, I need some advice on how to make my girls better.

I transplanted them 3 days ago, 1 of them (dosi) is happy with her new home but the rest certainly not.

I have 2 autos in solos that are happy.

My kush mints are suffering the most. I THINK I watered them a day before transplanting and then once transplanted I gave them a small circle of water. Overeatered perhaps?

I'm honestly contemplating ripping them up after seeing how happy the autos are. I feel I've set them back so much. Maybe I transplanted to early aswell.

Will they bounce back? Makes me feel like I've failed already.

Temps are pretty at 19c - 23c lights on and off.
RH stays between 70% - 75% throughout.

I have 2x 250w invisi sun boards both on dimmed to 100w each. I've raised them to about 40"+ to try help recover because they seem so compact and sad.

Anything? Sorry for the ramble. Panicking there just not going to recover or ever be happy.

Cheers

They just look a little overwatered maybe and mainly just dealing with a transplant. They look fine.

Thanks mate, I thought maybe they would of got over it by now, especially when I've got one that's happy.

It's just like there not moving. When lights go off they droop even worse (expected) but when they're on not much changes. They've been on for 4hours and they've barely perked up. Thought it would be quicker restarting by the way there growing.

I would say they don’t look too bad, maybe a bit of transplant shock , maybe a little over watered ?
My plants always tend to droop when lights go off …. Resting from the intense light maybe. ……

Stick with it , let them dry out a bit and see if they perk up ,I certainly wouldn’t be pulling them just yet

Thanks mate,

I thought as much about the transplant shock, I thought I was pretty careful when doing it.

I just get annoyed, downhearted and impatient and think I set them back too much and to just start again. I wanted to finnish before crimbo but I'll have to veg abit longer.

I didn't know if they were getting enough light. I had one on when they were seedlings but thought they'd appreciate more light. Guess not :idn:

I think that they might need a drink. That substrate looks too dry. Petioles are bending too.

How warm is the space (Lights on and off)?

That`s what they do especially in veg towards days end or lights out and should perk back up in morning. Give them time to come around from transplanting as well, if you been a bit heavy handed it can easily knock them back a week or so.

Surely not, the soil surrounding the stalk is still wet. When I stick my finger in its still wet.

I fed them the day before transplanting and then gave them a small one after.

Lights off can be as low as 18c
Lights on can be between 20c - 24c

Yeh I know they droop, worrying me that that don't perk up up when the lights come on.

I thought I was pretty carefully but to be fair there was one or two that wasn't centralised when I put them in the new soil so I'd dig them up to re position them :bang head:

What's the substrate like in the rest of the pot?, those girls should be taking a full watering now.

Their roots will be wanting to stretch to meet water near the edge of the pot.

Personally I'd get the temps up to 28/30*C no less than 20 lights off, give the pot a run through and leave them alone for a week. :idn:

But stick your finger into the edge of the pot and see how dry it is. That's where I test.
