At the mo it's on for 15 minutes every hour but when i refill the res tomorrow, I'll probably change it to on for half hour at a time every hour or so.

Yeah it's strong too. I've positioned it right at the bottom of the tank on the lip section. Holds well. Even when I throw 20l from a bucket on to it.

I have it come on every 3 hours I think for an hour or so. Not 100%. I'll take a pic of my time later and check for you. I think I want to run it more often to stop salts settling..two ways to look at it..they're better at the bottom of my res then clogging up my pipes. Or the more the pump runs maybe cause fluctuations in pH like some have said. So I've gone back to "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

I would have mine running 24/7 but im concerned about res temp as the cupboard my grow is now in gets very warm. Res temp was 28°c the other day. Ended up chucking a few ice cubes in as a last resort. It worked, but i had to adjust ph after they'd melted.
Cant use ice cubes as a soloution because i am far too ginger for this weather and i need them for myself.

Flooming is said a great way to oxygenate your rezz, no airstones required just a small pump pointed upwards stuck to bottom of your rezz.
