Cheers dude. That looks easy enough to blag. I think organic teas are the way forward for me. Everytime anyone (Americans on podcasts usually) talk about organic cannabis they all talk about how the taste is so much better. That's what I want, best tasting cannabis I can grow.
Whatever container you use, length is more important than depth, which is why I got the ones I mentioned.

You can go two layer (so the juices drop into the lower one) but you can do without it as long as the medium is not too wet. I have the lid off mine during the day (or have it slightly off to allow air etc.) and you'll lose moisture through natural evaporation. Just remember to cover them up at night.
Never give advice. Wise men don't need advice. Fools won't take it.

I only use half of that stuff and get great results,

kelp
neem
Gypsum
Lime
Barley
rock dust
Blood bone an fish meal
Peat moss
Compost
Perlite

A lot of the above in the first post isn't readily available in the UK, but all the stuff I listed can be got on ebay or local stores, I watert with just water but once every 2 weeks I use either a kelp tea, compost tea , or add coconut water to the water.

Havent spent a penny in the hydro store except on pots for about 2 years now. :)
I'm only on grow #2 and have been looking into hydroponics and different ideas for the future but soil really excites me! I've learned a lot about growing and soil in general since I've started growing cannabis. 2nd grow in and I've all ready started adding worm castings and organic conditioner to the Base soil I bought. Wish I had a garden to start composting.

What I guess I'm getting at is I'll probably be firing a load of questions to you in the future about teas etc.
Soil is the easiest way, I get similar results to hydro and its dead lazy hahaha id never go back. Infact Iv got a blulab ec stick here I need to sell lol

Organic water. Rain water?
You should also include companion planting useful cover crops such as chick weed, clover, alfalfa etc. These crops help keep down weeds and provide nutrients and improve the soil.

Organic growing is far more then a list of amendments that are store bought. Some do it all DIY. You should be able to generate and collect almost everything yourself. Chickens for guano, lava rock, sand, gravel, depending on where you live. Your own compost. Plus chip some palms or similar for coir.

Living off grid promotes this. I buy dolomite and vermiculite. Everything else I harvest. Grow Aloe, harvest nettles. All kinds of ways to get nature to work for you. At the end of the day that's really what organic growing is.

I favour the high brix method.
