New setup for my herbs

Post by Grumpy Toad »

I rebuilt the deck and needed to somehow make sure nobody steps into the gap between the decking and tree. So here's my solution. Figure herbs, flowers, plants, couple gnomes. The racks are attached at the corners to make secure.

I bought a seed assortment from Amazon (where else?) and this is the list: Italian Basil, Parsley, Cilantro, Mountain Mint, Chives, English Thyme, Oregano, Tarragon, Dill, Marjoram, Rosemary, Sage, Summer Savory, Lemon Balm. I may add a couple more things like Thai Basil and Lemon Thyme.

Getting the outdoors ready for chilling and grilling.

Nice egg, I'd have to sabotage my grill for the old lady to let me get one lol

Getting the garden ready for planting. Tomorrow I'll add compost and roto-till it in. Then pick up tomatoes and chiles. Can't wait for that first big beefsteak. Always use the first nice tomato on a BLT.

Update on the garden. I have three beefsteak tomatoes and a cherry tomato. Jalapeno, Anaheim and Scotch Bonnet for peppers and a couple cucumbers. I've got herbs in pots also.

Looking good. How are the herbs around the tree doing? 🤔
