I would, but I'm half way through a grow and I wouldn't be able to do weekly updates.

I'm going to pull up a chair in the corner and follow along if people are going to post their recipes for teas and amendments... please. :oik!:

I found feeding it just water was a no-no.

Ill mostly be topdressing tbh. after 2 weeks as is the cover crop should be established ish then about 2 weeks later (4 weeks from putting the mix into the pot) ill start top dressing about a table spoon of 1 or 2 amendments (frass or neem cake usually in veg) with a cup of worm castings. Ill usually swap what amendment every week or so

Ill just be using water unless something needs to be addressed quickly

Now there's my problem... I didn't top dress. Just water.

I was after a baseline for how quick the tub gets depleted.

Trouble was I had 2 plants in there, and the one an OGKush shot for the roof so i killed it and kept the shorter plant. :suicide: Should have killed the shorter one and kept the OG.

I reckon slinging a load of worms in a 60L tub of that stuff would keep it rocking through flower if you can get enough grub into the plants for the stretch.
The worms seem to love the stuff.
Must feel nice when they rub themselves up against it.

The baseline is tricky. if you left the soil to "cook" for like 3 month i bet it would be alot "hotter". its kinda about feeding the microbes so their population can respond to the plants demands from its exudates

its that microbe population that needs be kept fed to keep the medium fertile

Mixed mine up last night. Done it in 2 25l batches. Will be potting it all up next day or 2 and giving it a week or 2 to kick start in grow space with lights on/off etc.
